Strolling along the moat by the East Gate of Jingzhou Ancient City at night, you can enjoy a “Light and Shadow Show” projected onto Binyang Tower at the East Gate, full of modern cultural creativity and technological flair. Under the lights, city landmarks such as the ancient city wall, Binyang Tower, the statue of Guan Yu, the Soaring Golden Phoenix, the Nine-Dragon Column, and the statue of Qu Yuan glow with dazzling brilliance, opening a new chapter in nighttime tours of the ancient city. The entire show lasts 8 minutes and is divided into four chapters—Heaven, Earth, Humanity, and Harmony—mainly showcasing Jingzhou’s culture, history, and tourism resources. Each scene tells a story, immersing visitors deeply.

Zhang Gong’s Imperial Examination Dream

Overview: Taking Zhang Juzheng’s imperial examination life as the narrative thread, it builds a four-level progressive examination challenge system, including the Provincial Exam, Metropolitan Exam, Palace Exam, and Conferment. Visitors can participate through immersive role-playing in sessions such as “Yayi Quick Questions” and “Hanlin Feihualing,” experiencing Ming-dynasty examination scenes, culminating with the emperor personally presiding over the palace exam.

Jingzhou City Defense Challenge

Overview: Visitors can become warriors of the Three Kingdoms, interact with NPCs portraying Guan Yu, Sun Shangxiang, Xiao Qiao, Zhang Fei, Zhuge Liang, and others, and take part in tests of knowledge, luck, skill, wisdom, and strength. You must pass six stages, as if traveling back to the Three Kingdoms era to undertake a thrilling city defense mission.

Introduction to the Zhang Juzheng Metaverse

The Zhang Juzheng Metaverse Art Museum is an immersive cultural experience space that integrates the aesthetics of the film industry with cutting-edge digital technology. Relying on self-developed technologies such as VR, AR, AIGC, and naked-eye 3D, the museum features three core experience projects: the original illusion performance "Reimagining Zhang Juzheng", the LBE large-space immersive exhibition "Jingzhou Through a Thousand Years", and the VR ride cinema "Zhang Juzheng's Journey to the Imperial Examination". Together, they create a new digital art consumption scene that combines cultural experience and diverse immersion. In the original illusion performance "Reimagining Zhang Juzheng", you can not only gain a deep understanding of Zhang Juzheng's magnificent life and his grand vision of reforming and saving the Ming Dynasty, but also immerse yourself in the historical scene of Jingzhou during the Ming Dynasty. In the LBE large-space immersive exhibition "Jingzhou Through a Thousand Years", you can travel through a thousand years and witness the epic of Jingzhou from "Yu's Division of the Nine Provinces" to Guan Yu's construction of the city, through LBE large-space virtual roaming. In the VR ride cinema "Zhang Juzheng's Journey to the Imperial Examination", you can embark on the imperial examination journey and experience the arduous journey from Jingzhou to the capital through the VR ride cinema.
